2013 Samsung Cadet Success Story - Mduduzi Simelane
I being one of the privileged individuals who got that opportunity to be part of a life changing experience at Samsung and looking at where I am now , I would like to thank Samsung for being a stepping stone for previously disadvantaged youth of South Africa.

When my application to attend at the Samsung Electronics Engineering Academy back in October 2011 was accepted it felt like half of my load was lifted because I was aware of the opportunities that came with the package,At the time I was uncertain about my future because I was fresh out of high school and did not have enough funds to continue with my studies, now I was one of the students at the academy.

Then came the day when we had to start classes at the academy where we were introduced to all electronic equipment and components, it was the first time I was holding a break board without any prior knowledge of how it works but by the end of the lesson I had light. I found electronics very fascinating for me, I opened room for learning and I never looked back, the academy unleashed the technical side of me as I am even motivated to continue with my studies in the field of electronics.

Right now I am an employee of Powercare maintenance and service as an HHP technician. This whole experience has been a life changing experience for me and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Samsung, NEET and Mr Nkomo for granting me this opportunity.
